Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Enlighten-Me (the “Service”), provided by CJD Consulting LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us at help@enlighten-me.co if you suspect unauthorized access.

Subscription and billing

The Service is free to browse, search, and read scripture. The image-creation feature requires a paid subscription, billed monthly at $2.99 USD. Pricing and feature availability may change; we will notify subscribers in advance of any change to your renewal price.

You authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel. Cancellation is available anytime in Settings → Subscription and stops future billing. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate, store, or share content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, deceptive, or that infringes others’ rights
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, subscription enforcement, or other technical controls
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or use automated tools against the Service except with our written permission
• Resell or redistribute the Service or its outputs as your own product
• Use the Service to violate any applicable law

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Content

Scripture text is the King James Version, which is in the public domain.

Generated images. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you may use images you generate through the Service for personal and non-commercial purposes. Generated images may be similar to images generated for other users; we make no warranty of uniqueness. Underlying generative models are operated by third parties (Anthropic, Magnific) and you must also comply with their usage terms.

Your content. You retain ownership of any prompts or text you provide. You grant us a limited license to process that content as necessary to operate the Service.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

The Service generates images using AI; we do not guarantee their accuracy, suitability, or that they will be free of artifacts or errors. The Service is not a substitute for theological, pastoral, legal, medical, or professional advice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CJD Consulting LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) USD $50.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, security or legal reasons, or if we discontinue the Service.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Effective” date above will reflect the most recent change. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
