Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how CJD Consulting LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Enlighten-Me (the “Service”), available at www.enlighten-me.co and through our iOS app.

Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account identifier. Authentication is handled by Supabase. We do not see your Google password.

Billing information. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card number. Stripe shares with us a customer ID, subscription status, and the country your billing address is registered to (for tax purposes).

Saved scripture cards. When you save a finished scripture card to your Library, the image is stored locally on your device. It is not synced to our servers.

Generated images. When you generate an image (subscriber feature), the verse text and your prompt are sent to our backend, which forwards it to third-party AI providers (Anthropic and Magnific) to produce the image. The resulting image is returned to your device. We retain a record of the verse reference and a short prompt summary for abuse-monitoring and rate-limiting.

Web analytics. On the web version, we may collect aggregate product events such as page visits, language selection, whether a search was performed, scripture-card actions, image-generation flow actions, and App Store link clicks. We do not collect the text of your Bible searches in these analytics events.

Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard server logs including IP address, user-agent, and request timestamps. These are retained transiently for security and debugging.

How we use information

  • To provide and operate the Service (sign-in, subscription, image generation)
  • To process payments and prevent fraud (via Stripe)
  • To respond to support requests
  • To understand aggregate web usage and improve the web experience
  • To enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data to train AI models.

Sharing

We share information with the following service providers, only as needed to operate the Service:

  • Supabase — authentication and subscription state storage
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Vercel — web hosting and serverless functions
  • Anthropic — text generation for image prompts
  • Magnific — image generation
  • Cloudflare — DNS and email routing

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.

Your choices

If you reside in California, the EU/UK, or another jurisdiction with privacy laws, you have additional rights under those laws (e.g., CCPA, GDPR). To exercise them, contact help@enlighten-me.co.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact help@enlighten-me.co and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Effective” date above will reflect the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
